The PsiAN study is led by a multidisciplinary team at Lund University and Region Skåne,
working in collaboration with national international partners through the PsyTrials Network. Our team brings together expertise in psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, nursing, and
clinical trial methodology.

Principal Investigator
Pouya Movahed Rad, MD, PhD — Consultant Psychiatrist and Associate Professor at Lund
University Dr. Movahed Rad brings deep clinical and research experience in psychiatry, with a special
focus on severe depression. He has led clinical trials involving treatments such as
electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), ketamine, and now psychedelic-assisted interventions.

Clinical Team & Key Investigators
Our clinical team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, research nurses, and other
professionals from both adult (VUP) and child & adolescent (BUP) psychiatric services. They
provide medical oversight, therapeutic support, and coordinate all stages of the study.

• David Sjöström — Project design & coordination, Therapist & Investigator. Specialist trainee in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) and PhD student focusing on psychedelic use and safety in adolescents.
