Neuroimaging team

The MRI team provides specialized expertise in advanced neuroimaging and plays an important role in supporting research across multiple clinical studies. Based at the 7T MRI Unit at Lund University Hospital, the team contributes with state-of-the-art imaging methodologies to investigate brain structure, function, and underlying biological mechanisms.

Through the application of advanced MRI techniques, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), the team supports the collection, analysis, and interpretation of high-quality neuroimaging data. Their work contributes to a deeper understanding of brain changes associated with psychiatric conditions and treatment responses.

Working closely with clinicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary partners, the MRI team helps integrate neuroimaging approaches into clinical research studies, contributing valuable insights that may support improved diagnostics, treatment development, and personalized care.
